Brownsville- Jimmie Lee (Tallon) Whisenant, 92, a long-time resident of Brownsville, died Tuesday the 9th of November in McAllen, TX.
Jimmie Lee is survived by her three children, B.R. (Margaret) Whisenant, Jr. of McAllen, TX, Janice M. (Michael) Jackson of Apopka, FL, and James (Susan) Whisenant, of Newport Beach, CA. along with seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A funeral service in memory of Jimmie Lee will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Livingway Family Church, 350 W. Ruben M. Torres Sr. Blvd., Brownsville, TX 78520. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm. Internment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Jimmie Lee's name to Livingway Family Church, 350 W. Ruben M Torres Sr. Blvd., Brownsville, TX 78520.
