Hilda taught school for BISD for 29 years and had many fond memories of her students and fellow teachers. Her favorite pastime was listening to and singing old time religious music.

Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Patricia Jane Rankin and her son Brewster W. (Dubby) Rasco.

She is survived by her daughter Julie (Greg) Berry and son James (Beckie) Rasco; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their thanks to Hilda’s loving caregivers of many years, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Cynthia Rubio.
