Albert R. Garza

Albert R. Garza, 89, our beloved father, grandfather, greatgrandfather, and friend entered into the glory of his eternal life on Monday, June 9, 2014, at his residence in Brownsville, Texas surrounded by his loving family.

Albert was a lifetime resident of Brownsville. He was a proud Army veteran of both WW II and the Korean War.

Albert is preceded in death by his wife, Rita G. Garza a daughter, Enelina Harris and a son, Alberto Garza Jr.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of Albert are by his children: Diana Nelson, Ruth Manuel Balderas, Norma Linda Parker, Guadalupe Arthur Nelson, and Severo Margie Garza a soninlaw, Jay W. Harris eleven grandchildren: Jennifer Dee Veale, Crystal Amanda Balderas, Amanda Tara Gregory HarrisSalazar, James Daniel Delma Nelson, Richard Lee Parker, Eric Anthony Guadalupe Nelson, Manuel Jacob Balderas, Christopher Lee Karla Parker, Victoria Leigh Garza, Joseph Matthew Balderas, and Micaela Louise Garza and three greatgrandchildren: Addison Linda Salazar, Eric Anthony Nelson Jr., and Kaylee Sky Parker.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the West Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home with the recitation of the holy rosary scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at DarlingMouser. The Funeral Service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11th in the West Chapel at DarlingMouser. All services will conclude after the service and in accordance with Alberts wishes cremation will follow.
