alignleft Andrea Tapia Perez, 96, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother entered into the glory of her eternal life on Friday, June 12, 2009 in League City, Texas with her loving family at her side.

alignleft A native of Brownsville, Mrs. Perez had moved to Houston to live with her daughter 7 years ago.

alignleftLeft behind to eternally treasure her memory are her children: Santa Ruben Becerra, Lita Borrego, Irma Xavier Vega, Gracie John Kanales, Encarnacion Celina Perez, Rene Mary Perez, Rey Alejandra Perez, Don Mary Perez, Manuel Perez Jr., Jose T. Mela Garcia, Feliciano Luisa Garcia, Elesio Garcia, and Lucia G. Cortez; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren together with many extended family members.

alignleftVisitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Resurrection will be at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2009 at San Pedro Catholic Mission in San Pedro, Texas. Committal services will follow at Sabas Cavazos Cemetery in San Pedro. Andreas grandsons: Joey Garcia, Ralph Garcia, Joe Cortez, Ron Cortez, Jesse Cortez, and Leo Perez are honored to be serving as pallbearers for their beloved grandmother.
