Andy Lopez

BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Andy Lopez entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, the 12th of March 2024 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville. He was fifty-one years of age.

Andy was a truck driver and enjoyed driving, rock music, and loved motorcycles.

Preceding Andy in death was his daughter, Alaya Lopez; his father, Posidio Andres Lopez; and his sister, Mirtha Lopez.

Survivors include his loving wife, Beatriz Hinojosa; his mother, Juana Emilia Batista; his son, Pedro Lopez; his daughters, Margarita (Christopher) Pesina and Noemi Rodriguez; his grandchildren Tomas, Saleen, Ivory, Dominik, and Aubree; his parents-in-law, Rebecca and Margarito Barajas; his aunt, Hilda Espinoza; his nieces, Gleydis and Misleydis; in addition to numerous extended family members in Cuba. 

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, the 13th of March 2024 between the hours of one o’clock in the afternoon and nine o'clock at night, with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o'clock Wednesday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at two o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 14th of March 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1200 Lincoln Street, Brownsville. Interment will then follow, via an escorted procession, at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 McDavitt Boulevard, Brownsville.
