Angela C. Guerra

Angela C. Guerra, 63, of Brownsville, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend entered into the glory of her eternal life on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville surrounded by her loving family.

Angela was born on October 1, 1948 in Sebastian, Texas.
She had been a resident of Brownsville for numerous years.

Angela was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Her family always came first and she was always there for everyone. She loved gardening and tending to her plants. She also enjoyed walking to keep fit and dancing. She especially loved spending time with her family. Angela was greatly loved and will be profoundly missed by all those fortunate to have known her.

Angela was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Guerra and her parents, Pedro and Petra Cantu.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of her are her children: Alonzo Eva Guerra, Rebecca Guerra and Joel Roxana Martinez the grandchildren that were the apple of her eye: Jonathan, John Anthony, and Alonzo Angel Guerra four brothers: Pete Benita Cantu, Martin Corina Cantu, Eduardo Estela Cantu, and Ernesto Cantu two sisters: Micaela Cantu and Elodia Cantu her faithful companion, her pet Chihuahua Rocky and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mrs. Guerra will be cremated.
