Antonio G. Rocha, Sr.

Antonio G. Rocha Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, affectionately known as "La Peca", entered fully into the presence of the Lord and Savior at the age of 88 on November 7, 2018. He leaves behind his wife, Maria Uribe Rocha; two sons Antonio Rocha Jr., (Amparo) Narciso Rocha (Eva), and two daughters Maria Elisa Garza (Ernesto), Lucinda R. Hernandez (Rene) along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mr. Rocha was preceded in death by his two sons Angel Rocha and Guillermo Rocha.

Antonio Rocha Sr. was born in Brownsville, Texas on November 2, 1930 to father Angel Rocha and mother Rebecca Gonzalez. He grew up in a large loving family of five brothers Juan (Judy), Joe+ (Ernestine), Manuel+ (Juanita), Eliseo+ (Mary).

Antonio loved keeping family united by making his famous soup, playing poker, and gambling, but most of all loved dancing with his long-time partner of 65 years of marriage.

Visitation will be Friday, November 9, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Darling Mouser Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 10, 2018 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Rene Hernandez Jr., Leroy Garza, Antonio Rocha, Marco Rocha, Angel Rocha, and Hector Garcia.
Burial will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
