Antonio Villarreal, Jr.

BROWNSVILLE, TX. – Antonio Villarreal, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, the 3rd of November 2023 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was seventy-eight years of age.

Antonio was born on February 3, 1945 in San Pedro, Texas, son of the late Antonio Villarreal, Sr. and Victoria Garcia Villarreal. He was a parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church. Before retiring, his last occupation was as a security guard. His favorite pastimes included dancing, relaxing, and enjoying retirement.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Esther H. Villarreal; his children, Antonio Villarreal III and Andres Villarreal; and his grandson, Esteban Andres Villarreal.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, the 8th of November 2023 between the hours of one o'clock in the afternoon and nine o’clock at night, with a service to begin at six o’clock Wednesday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

A Chapel Service will be held at twelve noon on Thursday, the 9th of November 2023. Interment will then follow, via an escorted procession, at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 McDavitt Boulevard, Brownsville.

Honored to serve as his pallbearers will be Antonio Villarreal, Andres Villarreal, Luis Oliva, Donald Moore, Roy Garcia, and Andres Almanza. Esteban Villarreal will serve as honorary pallbearer.
