Aurora Paredes Lopez

Aurora P. Lopez, 92, of Brownsville, TX our beloved sister and aunt entered into the glory of her eternal life on Saturday, March 10, 2012.

She was a native and lifetime resident of Brownsville, having been born here on October 13, 1919 to Pedro Paredes and Dolores Vidal Paredes. She was a longtime parishioner of Immaculate Conception Cathedral.

Aurora was preceded in death by her parents: Pedro and Dolores Paredes her husband, Enrique Gonzalez a sister, Maria Paredes Kartak and a brother, Pedro Paredes Jr.

Left behind to eternally treasure her memory are her sisters: Angelica Paredes, and Enriqueta Pea an adopted son, Alfredo Paz Paredes, along with numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

Visitation will begin at 12 Noon and continue through 9:00 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2012 with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening in the West Chapel at DarlingMouser.

The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 602 E. Elizabeth St.

Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Family members are honored to be serving as her pallbearers.
