Beatriz Quiñones Eanes

BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Beatriz Quiñones Eanes, 90, our beautiful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her Brownsville residence on the evening of Thursday, the 16th of June 2022 surrounded by her family.

Beatriz was born on the 3rd of March 1932, daughter of the late Leopoldo Quiñones and Guadalupe Perez. She was a native of Mexico, later moving to Brownsville, Texas where she has resided since 1965. Beatriz was a devout Christian, and loved fishing, gardening, arts and crafts, baking, and spending time with her family and beloved pets.

Preceding Beatriz in death was her daughter, Elizabeth Eanes Sandoval; her husband, James Eanes; and her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son, Luis (Diana) Morrison; her grandchildren: Claudia Sandoval, Mario (Tammy) Morrison, Carlos (Gyssa) Morrison, Veronica (Mario) Benavidez, and Sergio (Jessica) Morrison; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, the 22nd of June 2022, between the hours of three o’clock in the afternoon and nine o’clock at night, with a prayer service to begin at seven o'clock Wednesday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

A Chapel Service will commence at ten o’clock in the morning on Thursday, the 23rd of June 2022. Interment will then follow, via an escorted procession, at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 McDavitt Boulevard, Brownsville.

Honored to serve as her pallbearers will be Mario Morrison, Carlos Morrison, Sergio Morrison, Mario Benavides, Christian Sandoval-Lape, and Holden Morrison.
