Mrs. Beatriz M. Zavaleta, 88, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest on September 17, 2008 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Zavaleta was preceded in death by her husband, Bruno H. Zavaleta, two sisters, Guillermina Simms and Maria Elena Garner and by a brother, Manuel Marques. Left behind to eternally treasure her memory are her children, Bruno H. Rita Zavaleta, Jr. of Brownsville, Cecilia Zavaleta Roberto Vela and Carmelita Zavaleta Ruben Salinas both of Laredo, eight grandchildren, Rita M. Zavaleta Rolando Olvera of Brownsville, Bruno H. Beverly Zavaleta, III of San Antonio, Melissa V. Carlos Ramirez, Gina Marie Vela, Roberto Luis Vela, Ricardo E. Christina Salinas all of Laredo, Eric A. Salinas of San Antonio, and Stephanie A. Salinas of Orlando, Florida, 9 great-grandchildren, a brother, Roberto Marques of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, sister-in-law, Magdalena Zavaleta and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin on Friday, September 19, 2008 at 5 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to be held at 7p.m., in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10a.m., Saturday, September 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow to Buena Vista Burial Park.
Honored to be serving as Mrs. Zavaletas pallbearers are Bruno H. Zavaleta, III, Roberto Luis Vela, Ricardo E. Salinas, Eric A. Salinas, Rolando Olvera, and Carlos Ramirez.
