Brenda Vanessa Ingram, 53, of Brownsville, Texas, went to be with The Lord on March 4, 2014 after a valiant fight with cancer surrounded by her loving family.
Brenda was born to the late Pablo Infante and Fidela GorenaVera. She graduated from Hanna High School in 1975 and married William Bill Ingram on June 23, 1993. She and Bill shared their love for each other and the Lord for over 23 years.
Brenda was a small business owner of Honeys Snacks and was also a substitute teacher for St. Joseph Academy. One of her passions in life was making a difference in the lives of her students. Honey, as many knew her, loved God, her family and friends, and had an extra special place in her heart for her animals. She left her mark on this world and everyone who knew her. Brenda was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate to have known her.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Pablo Infante her sisterinlaw, Polly Anne Infante her maternal and paternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Brenda is survived by her husband, William Bill Ingram her children, Tricia Ryan Lopez and Brian Ashley Ingram, and a grandson, Liam Ingram. She is also survived by her mother, Fidela David GorenaVera, her siblings: Lina Joel Salinger, Paul Nina Infante, and David Laura Infante her nieces and nephews: Sabrina Josh Langhorst, Joey Infante, Jacob Jake, Sarah, Mia, and James Infante, and Miles and Blake Fowkes a greatnephew, Aiden Langhorst and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014, in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating Brendas life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014, in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser. Committal services will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Paul and David Infante, Josh Langhorst, Miles Fowkes, A. Roy Gonzalez, and Bobby Torres are honored to be serving as Brendas pallbearers. Joel Salinger, Robert Sonny Zavaleta and Ray Hagood will serve as honorary pallbearers.
