Candida "Candy" M. Cantu

Mrs. Candida Candy M. Cantu, 92, beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend entered into the glory of her eternal life on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Solara Hospital in Brownsville.

Left behind to eternally treasure her memory is her husband of 65 years, Carlos P. Cantu; her children, Carlos Luis and his wife Irma Cantu, Maria Cristina and her husband Jesus Puente, and Cesar Augusto and his wife Lizeth Cantu; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Candys wishes she was cremated. A Memorial Mass celebrating her life will be held today, Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 7 p.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church.
