Captain Frank Lasseigne, 79, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend entered into the glory of his eternal life on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Sunshine Haven Hospice Facility surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was preceded in death by his two sons: Timothy and Kenneth Lasseigne; his sister, Anterina Guidry; and his parents, Marceline and Harris J. Lasseigne.
Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of Frank are his wife of 56 years, Sidney S. Lasseigne; 3 daughters: Debbe Lasseigne, Eileen Lasseigne (Steven) Wagner & Vickie Lasseigne (Daniel Noel+) Mayon; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Hazel (Julius) Collins, Felicie Thibodeaux and Annette Dillard; a brother, Harris (Kathy) Lasseigne; and a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Lasseigne. Frank will also be missed by his numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
In accordance with Frank's wishes, he will be cremated. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 20, 2018, starting at 5:00 p.m. in the at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. The Knights of Columbus Council #1553 will have a special presentation at 5:45 p.m. followed by the recitation of the holy rosary at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will run through 9:00 p.m. Friday evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 2800 Rockwell Ave. All services will conclude after the Mass and private entombment services will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Frank's name may be made to Sunshine Haven, 7105 W. Lakeside Blvd., Olmito, Texas 78575.
