Carlos Saenz Torres, 82, beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 8, 2010 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.
Mr. Torres served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings. Left to eternally cherish his memory is his wife, Carmen Torres of Brownsville, his children, Carla Salinas and Carmen Juarez both of Brownsville, Patty Still of California, Alejandra Alvarado of Fort Worth, Jose Luis Gonzalez and Elias Patty Gonzalez both of Brownsville, sixteen grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 11a.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to be held at 7p.m., in the Chapel of DarlingMouser. Funeral services will be held at 10a.m, Thursday, February 11, in the Chapel of DarlingMouser Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Funeral Honor Guard Post 43 under the direction of Commander Raul J. Leal.
