Carmen V. Casas

Carmen V. Casas, 68, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at her residence in Brownsville, Texas.

Carmen is preceded in death by her parents: Carmen and Jose Roberto Manjarrez.

Carmen is survived by her husband of 46 years: Jes&uacutes R. Casas; her children: Jes&uacutes R. (Sandra) Casas Jr., Julissa (Matthew) Porcher, and Joaquin (Sara) Casas: 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Carmen will also be missed by her sister: Sylvia Francia (Daniel) Garcia and 4 brothers: Jose (Eileen), Alejandro, Robert, and Arturo (Angelina) Manjarrez along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home, with a prayer service scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening. The Funeral Service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018, in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser. All services will conclude on Sunday afternoon and in accordance with Carmen's wishes, cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Carmen's name may be made to the Primera Iglesia Presbiteriana Mexicana, P.O. Box 3028, Brownsville, TX 78520.
