Carmen G. Longoria

Mrs. Carmen G. Longoria, 92, of Brownsville, beloved mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, sister and friend, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 14, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Left to eternally treasure their memories of her are her sons, Ricardo Gloria Longoria, Sr., Juan Carmen Longoria Sr., Romulo Glendora Longoria Jr. and Marco Antonio Sylvia Longoria, all of Brownsville her daughters, Lilia David Navarro of Brownsville, Dora Napoleon Meynard of Minnesota, Evangelina Camilo Gonzalez of Brownsville, Carmen Martin Garza of Brownsville and Eloisa Gilberto Garcia of Corpus Christi. Also surviving are her brothers, Conrado Garcia of Matamoros and Oscar Garcia of Mercedes as well as her sisters, Carolina Garcia of Matamoros and Celia Rivera, Rosa Lilia Cantu and Raquel Hinojosa, all of Mercedes. 31 grandchildren, 41greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.

Mrs. Longoria was preceded in death by her mother Herminia Sanchez her father Luis Garcia her husband of 51 years Romulo Longoria 2 sons, Juan Diego and Jose Longoria a daughter Eloisa Longoria 2 grandchildren, Daniel Navarro and Alberto Longoria a greatgrandchild, Everardo Navarro, Jr and of 14 siblings 8 preceded her in death: Celia, Ovidio, Benito, Humberto,Ovidio, Sergio, Leonel and Roberto Garcia, Herlinda Silva and Arminda Mata.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2014 with a prayer service at 7 p.m. in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home with interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Honored to be serving as her pallbearers are Juan Longoria, Jr., Camilo Gonzalez, Jr., Roberto Longoria, Aldemaro Meynard, Everardo Navarro, Armando Longoria, Federico Longoria and David Navarro, Jr.
