Celia Flores Lage

BEDFORD, TX. - Celia Flores Lage, originally of Olmito, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, the 16th of January 2025. She was 90 years of age.

Celia was the daughter of the late Rogerio Flores, Sr. and Consuelo Villarreal Flores. Celia joins her husband, Herald Lage; beloved sister, Cecilia; brother, Raul; and her nephew, Roger O. Flores, in heaven.  

Celia had a successful career as a federal civilian employee for 46 years. She enjoyed gardening, home renovations, and spending time with friends and family.

Celia is survived by her brother, Rogerio Flores, Jr. and his wife Betsy; her son, Ronald V. Flores and his wife Laura; her grandchildren Tess and her husband Jon Bachtel, Mark Flores, and Kevin Flores; her great-granddaughters Layla, Leslie, and Luna Batchel; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, the 27th of January 2025 between the hours of five o'clock in the afternoon and nine o'clock at night, with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o'clock Monday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. 

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ten o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 28th of January 2025 at Our Heavenly Father Catholic Church, Olmito. Interment will then follow, via an escorted procession, at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 McDavitt Boulevard, Brownsville.
