Cesario "Pete" P Leal

Cesario P. Leal, 68, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, greatgrandfather, brother, uncle, and friend unexpectedly entered into the glory of his eternal life on Friday, October 18, 2013, at Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen surrounded by his loving family.

Pete, as he was affectionately known to all, was a native and lifetime resident of San Pedro. Petes passion in life was his family he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and greatgrandfather. Pete was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate to have known him.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Francisca and Melquiades Leal and two younger brothers and his motherinlaw, Sarah Perez Garza.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of him is his loving wife of 52 years, Corina G. Leal the six daughters that were his pride and joy: Lisa Ann Leal, Christine Larry Mares, Linda Richard Molina, Corrine Rene Mares, Sandra Larry Carmona, and Debra Marie Leal the grandchildren that were the apple of his eye: Ashleigh Marie Mares, Rene Mares Jr., Taylor Danielle Mares, Jonathan Andrew Molina, Bryan Nicholas Mares, Lawerence Ryan Mares, Joshua Anthony Molina, Jordan Aaron Carmona, Sarah Corrine Carmona, Madison Alexandra Carmona, and Katherine Ashley Jesse Robledo and two greatgrandsons: James and Gabriel Robledo. Pete will also be missed by his sister, Hilda Frank Perez and two brothers, Melquiades Janie Leal Jr. and Ruben Dora Leal and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. today, Sunday, October 20, 2013, in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. this evening. The Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, Monday, October 21, 2013 at San Pedro Catholic Church in San Pedro, Texas. Committal services will follow at Alejandro G. Garza Cemetery in Villa Cavazos, Texas. Petes brothers, Melquiades Jr. and Ruben along with his sonsinlaw, Larry Mares, Richard Molina, Rene Mares, and Larry Carmona are honored to be serving as Petes pallbearers. Petes eleven grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
