Charles L. White

Charles Louis White passed away Monday, November 29th, 2010, after a lengthy illness. Everything was done that willing hands and tender hearts could do to restore him to his wanted health, but all in vain. He was preceded in death by his father Frank White, his mother Estelle White Russell, and his wife Mary White. He is survived by three brothers Stanley White of Laredo, Texas, Glen White of Laredo, Texas, and Larry White of Bayview, Texas. He has three adult children Jennifer Sommer of San Benito, Texas, Staff Sergeant Charles Louis White II, U.S. Army based in El Paso, Texas, and Brian White of Laredo, Texas. His grandchildren include Amanda Sommer, Sydney Sommer, Emily White, Adrian White, Jonathan White, and Abigail White.
Louis was born in Waynesboro, Mississippi on Dec. 16th, 1944. He grew up in Brownsville, Texas and graduated from Brownsville High School in 1964. After living and working in Brownsville for most of his life, he moved to and resided in both Laredo and Del Rio, Texas for several years. He moved back to the Rio Grande Valley about 9 months ago.
