Colleen was born in Ovid, Michigan on Mothers Day, May 9, 1937, a fitting beginning to a life that was devoted to her family. She loved her daughters, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren beyond measure, and prayed fervently for them daily. Her hearts desire was for each of them to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Our blessed Mom and Grandma, a devout woman of faith left this earthly home for the promised dwelling with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 19, 2010 following years of personal suffering.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ronald Posio her father Lewis Spayde and grandsons, Paul and David Sanchez. She is survived by her mother, Inez Lurene Spayde, Lansing, Michigan her brother Melvin Nancy Spayde, Lansing, Michigan her children, Kimberly Jonathan Jones, Brownsville, Texas
Karen Randy Fannin, Loveland, Ohio Kathleen Posio, Brownsville, Texas and Kristine Hector Molina Harlingen, Texas. Grandchildren: Stacy Robert Lara, Maria Tony Hinojosa, Henry Sanchez, Nick Amy Fannin, Ron Fannin, Joy Fannin, Daniel Molina, Sophia Molina, Lorenzo Molina, Megan Martin, and Jonathan Jones.
Great grandchildren: Esperanza, Evangelina, and Robert Lara Antonio and Alicia Hinojosa Evan Martin.

The family wants to thank Dr. Jorge Flores, the therapy and nursing staff at Retama Manor Nursing Center, and Tina McKinney for their compassionate care. Additionally, we would like to thank all the friends and family that prayed for her and visited with her over the years.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of DarlingMouser Funeral Home, 945 Palm Blvd, Brownsville TX, 9455467111. Visitation will be Tuesday from 68 pm at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, 10 am at First Baptist Church, 1600 Boca Chica Blvd, Brownsville, TX with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park, Brownsville, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church of Brownsville, Texas Mexico Missions.
