Concepcion Aguilar, 90, of Brownsville, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 07, 2008. She was born on August 11, 1918, in Port Isabel, Texas.
Concepcion was retired from D D Dress Shop, where she was a manager for many years.
Concepcion was a very loving and selfless person. She was loved tremendously and will be missed by her sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends.
Concepcion was preceded in death by her parents, Hilario and Herlinda P. Aguilar, her brother, Hilario Aguilar, Jr., and her sisters, Evangelina Aguilar, Leonor Aguilar, Rafaela Fela Aguilar, Guadalupe Lupita Ramon C. Lopez and Adelaida Aguilar.
She is survived by her sisters, Rosario Reynaldo Tamayo, Sister Mary Lelia Aguilar, I. W. B. S., and Emerita Cristina Aguilar; her nieces and nephews; Reynaldo Tamayo, Imelda David Tamayo Lopez, Noe Prudence Lopez, Leonel Elia Lopez, William Rocio Lopez, Mary Lelia Lopez, and Roberto Moreno. She is further survived by grand nieces and nephews: Christopher Tamayo, Jacob Lopez, Michelle Lopez, Lucinda Marie Lopez, Leonel Gerardo Lopez, Raul Ramon Lopez, and Marco Esteban Lopez.
Visitations will be held on Friday, October 10, 2008, from 1 to 9 p. m. A holy rosary led by the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament will be held at 7 p. m. also on Friday, October 10, 2008 in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser.
The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10 a. m. on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park, Brownsville, Texas.
David Lopez, Leonel Lopez, William Lopez, Reynaldo Tamayo, Israel Vasquez, Jr., and Noe Lopez, are honored to be serving as Concepcions pallbearers.
