Consuelo Lavios Hebert, 86, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at Alta Vista Nursing Home in Brownsville, Texas.
Connie as she was affectionately known to all was a native and lifetime resident of Brownsville.
Connie attended Incarnate Word Academy and graduated from Villa Maria High School. After her marriage to Clyde Hebert, a "Cajun" who loved hunting, Connie became an avid hunter as well.
Connie was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate to have known her.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde Hebert; and two brothers, José A. Lavios III and Luis Emilio Lavios.
Connie is survived by her sister-in-law, Alida G. Lavios; a niece, Norma Marie Lavios; four nephews, José A. Lavios IV, Oscar A. Lavios, Luis Emilio Lavios Jr., and Rene Jaime Lavios as well as other extended members of the family.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6th and continue through 8:00 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. A Liturgical Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 555 West St. Francis St. in Brownsville, Texas. Entombment services will follow in the Mausoleum at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Oscar Lavios, Rene Lavios, Luis Lavios, Jr., Victor Ortiz, Omar Ortiz, Victor Black, Jr. and Antonio Laulom are honored to be serving as Connie's pallbearers.
