BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Our hearts are full of joy, yet sadness, as we say goodbye to our beloved family member Ruby Coylene Wicks (Damron), born August 28, 1937 in Brownsville Texas and left us to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, the 18th of April 2025.
Coylene was preceded in death by her loving parents, Coy and Mary Adelyne Damron.
She has many family and friends left to mourn her passing, her husband, James A. "Jim" Wicks; her sons, Anthony J. Wicks (Tessa) and Andrew A. Wicks (Ryan); her beautiful granddaughters, Lydia and Olivia; her siblings Barbara Jones, Penny Van Atten, Karen Wilson (Larry), Sharon Cecil, and Gary Damron (Diana); as well as many nieces and nephews as well as many more great-nieces and great-nephews.
Coylene is loved by many and was known for being selfless, kind, loyal, and lived a life of unwavering Faith. She will be greatly missed yet we rejoice knowing that she is with Jesus.
