Cynthia D. Cindy CloughMwahozi, 54, of Brownsville, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Valley Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Brownsville, Texas on October 19, 1957, to John and Alice Clough.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Clough, Sr. her uncle, James Jimmy Margenau her aunt, Carlota Beto Garza maternal grandparents, Ernest Henry and Frances TorresMargenau and her paternal grandparents, Milo and Maria del Refugio Martinez Clough.
She is survived by her husband, Abdalla Mwahozi daughters, Danielle Nicole Flores and Isa Vernae Kenneth FloresPerry her grandchildren, Stephanie M. Sandoval, Kalvyn Kaige Molina, Tasha Flores, and Noe Reyes her mother, Alice Margenau Clough brothers, John Isabel Clough, Jr., Thomas Velma W. Clough, William Diana R. Clough, Richard Michelle E. Clough sisters, Sandra G. Aguirre and Joyce A. Gerald CloughBosley fifteen nieces and nephews her aunts, Frances Parker, Mary Lou Clough Barron, Margarita Margenau, and Dominga Clough and numerous cousins.
Cindy was employed for the last fifteen years at Alpine Adult Day Care, where she will sincerely be missed by her clients. She had a zest for life. She enjoyed music, dancing, playing pool, and spending time with her friends and family. Her greatest love were her daughters and grandchildren. Her devotion to them never waivered.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 1 p.m. and continue until 9 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m., in the East Chapel of DarlingMouser Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m., at St. Marys Catholic Church. All services will conclude at the church. As per her request she will be cremated.
Honored to be serving as her pallbearers will be Richard Ricky Clough, William Billy Clough, Charles Charlie Clough, Eric Thomas Clough, John Phillip Clough, Christopher Chris Aguirre, Bobby Clough, and Abdalla Mwahozi. Honorary pallbearers will be John Johnny Clough, Jr., Thomas Tommy Clough,
John Anthony Clough, Kenneth Ken Perry and Gerald Bosley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Cindys name to St. Marys Catholic Church, 1914 Barnard Rd., Brownsville, Texas 78520.
