Darryl Wallace Adams

Darryl Wallace Adams, 61, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Valley Regional Medical Center.

A native and lifetime resident of Brownsville, Darryl was a man who had a passion and a zest for life. After graduation from Hanna High School in 1968, he worked for 10 years with Adams Bros. Construction, before venturing into his own business. For more than 30 years he shared his love of hunting and fishing as a fishing boat captain and hunting outfitter in Mexico and the United States.
He especially enjoyed sharing his knowledge and love of the outdoors with his daughters and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dearl E. and Ethel W. Adams.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of him is his loving wife of 41 years, Maggie Adams 3 daughters, Michelle William Pardo, Trisha William Mathers, and Heather Deano Rocha the eight grandchildren that were his pride and joy: Valarie, Kimberly, and Joey Pardo, Meagan, Shannan, and William Mathers II, and Austin W. and Colton Adams his brother, Darwal Angela Adams and numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today, Thursday, April 22nd in the West Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. There will be a service in celebration of Darryls life at 7 p.m. this evening in the West Chapel. All services will conclude this evening and in accordance with his wishes, Darryl will be cremated and his ashes scattered into the Laguna Madre which was his favorite fishing spot.
