Dennis Rendon

Dennis Rendon, 63, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Dennis was born in November of 1951 in Dallas, Texas and was a proud member of the Brownsville community for over 40 years.

Dennis shared a loving bond with his wife Juanita that started in high school and adored his daughter Kaliea. He was the ultimate son, brother, uncle and friend to many.

Dennis was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and had worked in law enforcement for many years. Dennis along with other family members helped shape the development of the New York Deli Restaurants.

In 1999, Dennis founded the Island Riders that evolved into "Los Escondido's M/C". Los Escondido's not only loved to ride their Harley Davidson motor cycles but could often be found participating in raising funds for Monica's House and or other charity causes for children. They were the first to participate in honoring fallen soldiers or patriotic events. When Dennis wasn't riding his Harley, he was probably spending time and training his German Shepherds. Dennis was also a long standing member of the Elks Lodge.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Fred Rendon Sr.

Left to cherish is memory are his wife Juanita; a daughter Kaliea; his mother Teresa, his sister, Argentina (Jose) Guerra; his brothers: Fred (Nelda), Gilbert (Christine) and Art (Nora) as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
