Dionicia F. Jones

Our beloved mother, Dionicia F. Jones, 90, entered into the glory of her eternal life on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville.

A native and lifetime resident of Brownsville, Dionicia was a loving and devoted mother. She took great pride in her home and enjoyed keeping up her home. She loved gardening and spending time in her gardens surrounded by her beautiful plants and flowers. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Cathedral.

Dionicia was preceded in death by her husband, Harney T. Jones, and 2 brothers, Rafael Lambert and Manuel Garcia.

Left behind to eternally treasure her memory is her daughter, Maria Reyes Garcia, her son, Freddie R. Jones, her sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., Tuesday, November 6, and continue through 9 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to be held at 7:00p.m., in the chapel of Darling-Mouser.

The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Immaculate Conception Cathedra. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Armando Benavides, Reyes Cruz, Reyes Cruz, Jr., Gerardo P. Gonzales, John M. Solis, and Noe Solis are honored to be serving as Dionicias pallbearers.
