Dionicio Juan Gorena III, 60, went to be with his Lord and Savior, while in hospice care, on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by his loving family.
Dionicio Juan was a native and lifetime member of the Brownsville community.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Dionicio Juan Gorena and Fidela Escobedo Gorena and his siblings: Dionicio II, Dario, Eduardo, Juan, Irene, Dora, and Dorcas Gorena.
Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of him are his siblings: Irene G. Octaviano Cavazos, of La Feria Linda E. Gorena and Dora E. Roberto Zavaleta both of Brownsville Ninfa G. Eloy Rivera, of Bayview Fidela G. David Vera, of Houston David Debbie Gorena, of Denver, CO Delia G. Robert Hampe, of Port Tobacco, MD Delfina G. Eberle and Diana G. Alan Saltzman, both of San Antonio and Diego Dina Gorena, of Helotes, TX. He will also be missed by his numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and other extended family members.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2012 in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home with a prayer service scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Monday evening.
Pastors Denilio J. Gorena, from First Baptist Church in Leonard, TX and Carlos A. Navarro from Iglesia Bautista West Brownsville will officiate the funeral service celebrating Dionicio Juan Gorena IIIs life at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser.
Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Mark Anthony Gorena, Roberto Rafael Zavaleta, Adrian Gorena, David Infante, Joe Molina, and Jacob Garza, are honored to be serving as Dionicio Juans pallbearers.
