Dora Elia Cisneros

Dora Elia Cisneros, 76, beloved mother, motherinlaw, grandmother, and friend, entered into the glory of her eternal life on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville surrounded by her loving family.

A native of Camaron, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Dora had been a resident of Brownsville for many years. She was a devoted wife and mother who gave her all for family and friends. She was a superb role model for her children and grandchildren and she leaves a legacy of good moral values in them. She was a superb and gracious hostess who loved getting her family and friends
together. A strong and courageous woman, Dora also exuded warmth to those around her. She was always there to listen and lend a helping hand to one and all. Dora will be dearly missed by all those fortunate to have known her.

Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Pea and her parents, Arturo and Josefina Calderon.

Left to eternally treasure her memory are her children: Lety Cisneros, Dr. Justo Luis Cisneros Jr., Jorge Luis Cisneros, and Jose Luis Cisneros the five grandchildren that were the apple of her eye: Justo Luis Justin Cisneros III, Monica Araceli Cisneros, Bianka Cisneros, Jorge Alexander Alex Cisneros, and Jo Elia Cisneros and her former husband, Justo Luis Cisneros Sr.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. with the family greeting friends at 5 p.m on Friday, January 7, 2011. The recitation of the holy rosary will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2011 in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 12 noon on Saturday, January 8, 2010 with a chapel service beginning at 1 p.m.

Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Doras grandsons: Justin Cisneros and Alex Cisneros along with James Lette, Rolando Trevio, Ricky Cruz, and Joe Fischer are honored to be serving as her pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Justo Luis Cisneros, Sr., Dr. Ramiro Barron, Dr. Eric Barron, and Omar Sanchez.
