Dorothy Belle Dunn

Dorothy Belle Dunn, 96, died Thursday, November 25, 2010, in Brownsville, Texas. Born April 14, 1914 in Sedalia, Missouri, she was the daughter of Orion and Edna Belle Turner. She graduated from the University of Missouri at Warrensburg.

Formerly of Kansas City, Missouri, Mrs. Dunn and her late husband, John, were longtime residents and members of Valley International Country Club. She was also a member of First Presbyterian Church of Brownsville, P.E.O., D.A.R, and Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority.

Survivors include daughter, Kay Murrell and her husband Michael of Columbia, South Carolina granddaughter Jill Rothstein and her husband David of Greenville, South Carolina grandson Michael Murrell and his wife Jodie of Fort Mill, South Carolina great granddaughters Chloe Rothstein, Katie Murrell and Eliza Belle Murrell and great grandson Eli Rothstein.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010 in the West Chapel at Darling Mouser Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to First Presbyterian Church of Brownsville, 435 Palm Blvd., Brownsville, Texas 78520.
