Dr. Maria Teresa Cavazos De Garza

Dr. Maria Teresa Cavazos de Garza, 58, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend entered into the glory of her eternal life on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Valley Regional Medical Center after a valiant battle against cancer with her loving family a her side.

Maria Teresa is survived by her husband of 34 years, Dr. Arturo Garza Morales her children: Arturo Doreen Garza Cavazos, Nilda Arturo Gomez, and Adrian Garza Cavazos the four grandchildren that were the apple of her eye: Arturo Antonio, Valentina Maria, Arturo Jose, and Anabella Teresa her parents, Dr. Antonio and Nilda Cavazos her brothers and sisters: Marisa Cavazos, Nilda Cavazos, Zonia Pullen, Antonio Cavazos, Lizetty Cavazos, and Sergio Cavazos, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Visitation and a rosary service were held yesterday at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 9:00 a.m. today, Thursday, Jan. 10, 2012, in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser with a Funeral Mass scheduled for 2:00 p.m. today, Thursday, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1200 Lincoln Street. All services will conclude after the Mass and in accordance with Maria Teresas wishes cremation will follow.
