RANCHO VIEJO, TX. - Dr. Ricardo Norberto Adobbati, a gifted orthopedic surgeon, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, the 2nd of October 2024 in the comfort of his Rancho Viejo residence, beside his beloved wife and family. He was 86 years of age.
Mrs. Elsie I. Adobbati, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, the 22nd of October 2024 in the comfort of her Rancho Viejo residence, beside her family. She was 91 years of age.
Dr. Adobbati earned his medical degree in 1966 from the University of Buenos Aires, specializing in traumatology. He dreamed of practicing medicine in the United States. Along with his wife, Elsie, and their two children, Ricardo and Laura, he immigrated to the United States, where he later completed a second specialization in orthopedic surgery at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center.
A lover of tangos and classical music, Dr. Adobbati was also an accomplished painter, sculptor, and avid woodworker. Elsie, who obtained her psychology degree from the same university, dedicated her life to raising their children and managing the medical offices.
Family was central to their lives. Both worked tirelessly to keep the family close, ensuring they saw one another frequently—a cherished tradition that endures.
Preceding in death are their parents and parents-in-law, Marcos and Amelia Adobbati and Ernesto and Luisa Massaroni.
Survivors include their children, Judge Ricardo Adobbati (Yvania) and Laura Gonzalez (Arturo); and their grandchildren Ricardo Adobbati, Diego Adobbati, Arturo Gonzalez, and Pablo Gonzalez
