Earnest Milton Greer

Earnest Milton Greer age 88 entered into eternal rest on April 22, 2017 at Brownsville Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Melvin Earl Greer and Myrtle Alyce Cromwell, sisters Mabel and Mildred and brothers Ralph and Curtis.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Phoebe LeeAnn, two sons Daniel (Carol) Greer and David (Kari) Greer, three Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren.

Milt was born in Texas, but moved to Arizona during his childhood. After he graduated from high school in 1947 he farmed in Arizona for a while, but in the fifties he found work in the heavy construction industry in Northern California. The highlight of that career was probably the two years he spent as a Materials Manager for Kaiser Engineers in Italy. In the seventies, Milt returned from Italy and built a new career as the owner of a small construction and mining equipment company for 16 years in Auburn, California. He moved to Texas after he sold the equipment company, and his third career was as a real estate investor in partnership with his wife and sons. He was proud to have created a family business that will last long after his passing.
