Eduardo R. Rodriguez

Eduardo R. Rodriguez, 60, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2008, peacfully from the arms of his loving family to the loving arms of his Lord.

Eduardo served his country in the National Guard. He retired as Captain from the Brownsville Fire Department in 1998, after 30 years employment.

He was preceded in death by his father, Felix Rodriguez, brother, Pedro Rodriguez, sister, Carlota Rodriguez. Left behind to eternally treasure his memory are his mother, Celedonia Rodriguez, his only daughter, Karen Rodriguez Fermin Banda, his fianc, Josie Vela, his brothers, Guadalupe, Felix Jr., and Carlos Rodriguez and a sister, Estella Errisuriz.

A rosary and a Last Call Prayer was held on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home East Chapel.

A Fire Department Honor Guard Funeral Procession led by Carlos Mendez will depart at 9:30 a.m. from Darling Mouser Funeral Home Friday November 21, 2008.

Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10a.m., today, at St. Luke Catholic Church with burial to follow to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. A Fire Fighters Prayer and Military Honors will be conducted at the gravesite by the V.F.W. Post 2035 under the direction of Commander Luis Lucio.

Eduardo Mejia, Felix Rodriguez III, Fermin Banda, Felix Rodriguez, Jr., Carlos R. Rodrguez and Jonathan Rodrguez are honored to be Eduardos pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Eduardo Errisuriz, Guadalupe R. Rodrguez, Chief Lenny Perez, and Jess M. Errisuriz.
