Elida Gallegos Cisneros

Elida G. Cisneros, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at her home in Brownsville, Texas surrounded by her loving family.

Elida was preceded in death by her parents, Petronila and Gustavo Gallegos Sr. a sister, Alicia G. Ortiz and a brother, Gustavo Gallegos Jr.

Elida is survived by her husband J. Isabel Cisneros, a daughter, Sylvia Daniel Alviar, four grandchildren: Nora Isabel Alviar, Daniel Iveth Alviar Jr., Emmanuel Kenia Alviar, and Elida Marie Erik Leon Alviar ten greatgrandchildren four sisters: Elva Gallegos Cisneros, Yolanda Curiel, Amelia Baldomero Rodriguez, and Ninfa Alfonso Gonzalez, a brother, Hector Gallegos, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2014, in the East Chapel with the rosary scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at DarlingMouser. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 2014, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2308 East Tyler St., Brownsville. Committal services will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Daniel Jr. and Emmanuel Alviar, David Chapa, Roger Cisneros Jr., and Alfonso Gonzalez are honored to be serving as Elidas pallbearers. Daniel Alviar Sr., Joel and Jaime Gonzalez will serve as honorary pallbearers.
