Emilio Crdenas Gutirrez, 35, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and cousin entered into the glory of his eternal life on Sunday, January 04, 2009 at his residence after a valiant battle against cancer surrounded by his loving family.

Emilio, who was born in Brownsville, grew up and was raised in Matamoros where he was involved in the radio broadcasting industry.

He was preceded in death by his father Jorge Crdenas Gonzlez and by a brother, Pedro Crdenas Gutirrez.

Left behind to eternally treasure his memory is his beloved wife of 8 years, Fernanda Ibarra Crdenas; his children: Santiago and Jorge Emilio Crdenas, his mother, Minerva Gutirrez de Crdenas; his 2 sisters, Minerva Jos Sacramento and Claudia Thomas Dunn; 4 brothers: Jorge Claudia, Alfonso Martha, Gustavo Mnica, and Luis Gina Crdenas, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The Mass of Christian Resurrection was held at 3 p.m. yesterday, Sunday, January 04, 2009 at St. Marys Catholic Church. In accordance with Emilios wishes he was cremated. A Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 6 p.m. this evening at San Juan de los Lagos Catholic Church in Matamoros, Tamps., Mxico.
