Emilio Perez, Jr.

TEXAS CITY/BROWNSVILLE, TX. – Emilio Perez, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, the 20th of December 2022 in Houston, Texas. He was thirty-five years of age.

Emilio was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many. He was kind, humble, and always willing to help others. Emilio fought hard to stay alive for his family since being diagnosed with a heart condition nine years ago. His daughter, Leighna, was everything to him. His favorite pastimes included spending time with his family, gaming, and watching anime and scary movies with his daughter.

Preceding Emilio in death was his father, Moises Villalpando; his brother, Moises Villalpando, Jr. (Baby Moy); his maternal grandparents, Manuel and Aurora Torrez; and his paternal grandmother, Ester Araiza.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Jennifer Lee Perez; his beloved daughter, Leighna Marie Perez; his mother, Audra Marie Villalpando; his siblings Vanessa Marie Perez, Mia Brianna Villalpando, Toni Lynn Villalpando, and James Marc Villalpando; his father, Emilio Perez, Sr. (Juany); his brothers, Troy Perez and Joey Sifuentes; his bestfriend, Yvonne Cortez; and numerous extended family members and a host of friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, the 28th of December 2022 between the hours of one o’clock in the afternoon and nine o'clock at night, with a prayer service to begin at seven o'clock Wednesday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. All services will conclude Wednesday night. Cremation will follow.
