Ernesto Neto Bautista Jr., 69, our beloved father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 6, 2014, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville surrounded by his family.
Neto, a native and lifetime resident of Brownsville worked as an insurance agent for Metropolitan Life for numerous years. Neto was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate to have known him.
Neto is preceded in death by two sons, Julio Ernesto and Cesar Bautista his father, Ernesto Bautista Sr., a sister, Elizabeth DeLeon, and two brothers, Reynaldo and Rodolfo Bautista.
Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of him are his son, Leroy Aurora Bautista his mother, Isabel S. Bautista six sisters: Sylvia Bautista, Ninfa Steve Maley, Martha Pat Siclari, Lucy Eddie Longoria, Susie Domingo Garza, and Alicia Jack Snodgrass four brothers: Johnny Norma, Alberto, Eddie, and Rolando Bautista three grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, January 8, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home with the recitation of the holy rosary scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. Visitation will resume at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning, January 9, 2014, with a Funeral Mass scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9th, at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 555 West St. Francis St. Committal services will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Netos brothers, Johnny, Alberto, and Eddie along with his brothersinlaw, Domingo Garza, Steve Maley, and Pat Siclari are honored to be serving as his pallbearers.
