Esperanza T. Mendez

Esperanza T. Mendez 93, of Brownsville, Texas, entered into eternal rest at her residence in Brownsville, on Monday, July 24, 2017.

Mrs. Mendez was a longtime resident of Brownsville, Texas and was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Mrs. Mendez is preceded in death by her husband; Candido Mendez and a daughter; Gertrudes Pulido.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children; Nieves (Lydia) Mendez, Rosaura Mendez, Esperanza (Gabriel) Espinoza, Emilia Zuniga, Candido Alberto (Maria Amelia) Mendez and Jose Jesus Mendez , several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in the EAst Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Communion Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1200 Lincoln Street. Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
