Esther Lopez Delgado

Mrs. Esther Lopez Delgado, 84, our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend entered into the glory of her eternal life on Friday, February 22, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Esther, a native and lifetime resident of Brownsville, was a very giving and generous person. She loved to cook and spend time with her family and friends. Esther was a devoted mother and grandmother. Esther was a lifetime member of El Calvario Lutheran Church. Esther was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all those fortunate to have known her.

Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Delgado three sons: Ramon L., Norberto, and Norberto Beto Delgado her parents: Maria de los Angeles and Gerardo Lopez and five brothers.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of her are her children: Adelina Nina Delgado Barbosa, Rolando Celia Delgado, and Antonio Tony Isabel Delgado the granddaughter that was her pride and joy, Diana Michelle Barbosa and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Visitation will begin Sunday, February 24, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home with a prayer service scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening. Visitation will resume at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013 with the funeral service scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at El Calvario Lutheran Church, 1157 E. Monroe St. Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
