Eudelia Vega Vasquez

Eudelia Vega Vasquez, 93, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Eudelia was preceded in death by her husband, Alejos Ayala Vasquez; a sister, Hortencia Alonzo and a brother Arnulfo Vega.

Eudelia is survived by her children: Yolanda (Julio+) Rodriguez, Alex (Palmira), Rodolfo "Rudy" (Angelita+) and Alfredo "Fred" (San Juanita) Vasquez; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson; a sister, Maria (Blas+) Rodriguez; 3 brothers: Hipolito (Esperanza+), Manuel (Maria), and Adalberto (Helen) Vega along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.

Visitation will start at 1:00 p.m. and continue through 9:00 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home with the recitation of the holy rosary scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Monday evening. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Cathedral, 1218 E. Jefferson St. Entombment services will follow in the Mausoleum at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Armando G. Hernandez, Rafael Herrera, Ruben Peña, Arturo Sada, Albert Treviño, and Jorge Vargas are honored to be serving as Eudelia's pallbearers.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Eudelia's caregivers: Mariana, Esmeralda, and Teresa for the wonderful care they provided to their beloved mother.
