Eugenio Andres Garcia, Sr.

BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Eugenio Andres Garcia, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Sunday, the 21st of May 2023 in Brownsville, Texas. He was eighty-four years of age.

Eugenio was born in Brownsville, Texas on August 13, 1938, son of the late Andres Garcia and Altagracia Villalon Garcia. He worked as a meat packer for H-E-B for over forty years. Prior to working at H-E-B, Eugenio worked with Armour & Company. His favorite pastimes included watching his Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros play, listening to music, and spending time with his family. Eugenio loved his wife, his children, and his grandchildren immensely, and he also loved his sweets, too. He was truly a treasure in our lives and will be greatly missed by many.

Preceding Eugenio in death was his loving and devoted wife of fifty-five years, Gloria Reyes Garcia; his parents, Andres Garcia and Altagracia Villalon Garcia; and his siblings, Gloria G. Guzman and Amelia G. Pena.

Survivors include his children Eugenio Andres Garcia, Jr. (Elva), Arthur Garcia (Lori), and Sonia J. Flores (Michael); and his five grandchildren that were the apple of his eye: Beau M. Garcia, Sidney A. Garcia, Mason A. Garcia, Victoria M. Flores, and Xavier M. Flores. Mr. Garcia is also survived by his brother, Carlos Garcia (Nelly+) from Los Angeles, California.
