Eva D. Yzaguirre

Eva D. Yzaguirre, 91, beloved aunt, sister, and friend entered into the glory of her eternal life on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Brownsville Nursing and Rehab.

Eva was a native and lifetime resident of Brownsville. She worked as a cashier and in the customer service counter at the HEB on Central Blvd. /Boca Chica Blvd. and the Boca Chica/Paredes Line stores. She retired after 30 years of faithful service. In her spare time, Eva loved to read and spend time with family and friends.

Eva was deeply loved not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Albina Davila and Guadalupe Yzaguirre; 2 sisters: Mary Yzaguirre Valdez and Gloria D. Yzaguirre and 2 brothers: Antonio D. Yzaguirre Sr. and Guadalupe Yzaguirre.

Eva is survived by two brothers: Roberto D. Yzaguirre and Eduardo D. Yzaguirre along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021, in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a prayer service at 6:00 pm Tuesday evening. We ask that everyone meet at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, Oct. 6th, 2021 for the graveside services. Family members are honored to be serving as Eva’s pallbearers.
