Flora Mireles

Flora Mireles, 78, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 19, 2016, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas.

Mrs. Mireles was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate to have known her.

Mrs. Mireles was preceded in death by a son, Benito Mireles, Jr.; her parents, Cesario and Victoriana De Leon ; 2 brothers, Arturo De Leon and Francisco De Leon.

Mrs. Mireles is survived by her husband: Benito Mireles, her children ; Rosie Mireles, Eduardo Mireles(Susan) and Leticia Mireles; grandchildren: Benito Mireles III (Raquel), Kryssie Lee Gamez (Filiberto), Joe Daniel Mireles (Jenny), Lucas Edward Mireles, Jacob Lee Mireles and Ellie Rose Mireles: great-grandchildren; Diego Joaquin Mireles, Naomi Yasmin Mireles, Pablo Enrique Gamez and Penelope Andrea Gamez; her sisters: Enriqueta Guerra, Blanca Estela De Leon, Juanita Castillo and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, and continue until 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Christ the King Catholic Church, in Brownsville. Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Honored to be serving as her pallbearers are Eduardo Mireles, Jacob Lee Mireles, Lucas Edward Mireles, Benito Mireles III, Joe Daniel Mireles and Filiberto Gamez.
