Florentina "Tina" L. Rincon, 88, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister entered into the glory of her eternal life on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville with her loving family at her side.
Tina as she was affectionately known to all, was born in La Feria, TX in October of 1928. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was totally devoted to her family. Tina was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate to have known her.
Tina was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Rincon; a son, Hector Rincon; a grandson, Samuel "Sammy" Orive Jr.; and her parents, Micaela and Felipe Lozano.
Tina is survived by a son, Francisco Rincon Jr. and his wife Janet; a daughter, Yolanda R. Orive and her husband Samuel; 8 grandchildren: Claudia (Ray) Sauceda, Elizabeth Rincon, Hector Rincon Jr., Jessica (Bryan) DeShane, Selina (Nathan) O. Garcia, Francisco (Marie) Rincon III, Sidney Scott (Maria) Orive, and Jennifer (Chris) R. Johnson; 17 great-grandchildren: Julius and Zayla Johnson, Francisco IV and Mario Rincon, Brooklyn & Briana DeShane; Hannah Grace & Joshua Garcia, Elijah &Damian Orive, Emma Sauceda, Julian & Jaydin Vasquez, Jolina &Anthony Ramirez, and Brandon & Briana Rincon. Tina will also be missed by several siblings along with numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. A Prayer Service is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening. The Funeral Service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
