Florentina Castro Rodriguez

Mrs. Florentina Castro Rodriguez, 88, of Brownsville, our beloved mother, motherinlaw, grandmother, greatgrandmother, and greatgreatgrandmother entered into the glory of her eternal life at her residence on Saturday morning, March 3, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Rodriguez was preceded in death by her husband Guadalupe S. Rodriguez, a son, Arnoldo Rodriguez and three daughters: Rosalinda Valdez, Evangelina Garcia, and Juanita Salinas.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of her are her children: Maria del Rosario Lockaby, Diana Luis Morrison, Norma Frank Castillo all of Brownsville Oralia Jesus Hernandez of Bakersfield, CA, Sylvia Ismael Lopez of San Antonio, TX, Delia Fidencio Mendoza of Zapata, TX, Tila Silverio Vasquez of Harlingen, Erasmo E. Belinda Rodriguez, Ruben J. Sylvia Rodriguez, and Pete Janie Rodriguez of Brownsville. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildern, and greatgreatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the East Chapel of DarlingMouser Funeral Home. The Mass of Resurrection will be at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow, Monday, March 5, 2012 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 2800 Rockwell. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
