Francis George Nunn

Mr. Francis George Nunn, 71, our beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend left to be with Our Lord after a brief but valiant battle against bone cancer on Monday, October 15, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Francis was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by those fortunate to have known him.

Francis was preceded in death by his father, Oddman Odd Nunn and two brothers, Norman and Bobby Nunn.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Jeanette M. Nunn his mother, Elizabeth Nunn four sons: Tracy Darla Nunn, Cody Nunn, and Preston Guilbeau all from Brownsville, and Kelly Nunn from Austin, TX three daughters: Pamela Guilbeau from Mansfield, TX, Penny Guilbeau and Patty Torres both from Brownsville a brother, Harry Nunn a sister, Jeanie Brown seventeen grandchildren, seven greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

In accordance with Mr. Nunns wishes he will be cremated. The family will begin to receive friends on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial gifts in Mr. Nunns name may be made to Sunshine Haven Hospice Facility, P.O. Box 4478, Brownsville, TX 78523.
