Francisco Hinojosa, 69, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas surrounded by his loving family.
Frank,"Pancho",�½ was a native and lifetime resident of Brownsville. He was a very happy, generous, and loving man. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Frank worked for the Brownsville Herald for over 16 years as a circulation district manager. Frank was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate to have known him.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents: Ana Dominga and Joaquin Hinojosa; a sister, Maria Plata; and three brothers: Guadalupe, Manuel and Joaquin Hinojosa.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 47 years, Rosa; his children: Nora (Ruben) Hinojosa, Frank (Nadia) Hinojosa, Rodney Hinojosa, Norma Hinojosa, and Steven Culver; his grandchildren: Francisco Manuel, Randy Lee, Jake "Murrano"�½, and Jason Joaquin Hinojosa; a sister, Dolores (Rafael) Ramirez; two brothers: Conrado (Ester) and Eduardo (Maria) Hinojosa, and numerous nieces, nephews, whom he loved and other extended family members.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2015 and continue through 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Monday evening in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28th at Darling-Mouser. Committal services will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Frank and Rodney Hinojosa, Steven Culver, Ruben Gracia, David Garcia and Gabino Gonzalez are honored to be serving as Frank's pallbearers. Conrado and Eduardo Hinojosa, Roberto V. Rocha, and Leo Garcia will serve as honorary pallbearers.
