Francisco Pena

Francisco Tato G. Pea, 72, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend entered into the glory of his eternal life on Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.

Frank was a very hard working man. He worked in construction for many years. Currently he was working for Ferguson Construction and had worked for DESCON Construction having supervised many of their projectswhich included Dr. Juliet V. Garcia and Sen. Eddie Lucio Jr. Middle Schools and many more. Frank was an avid golfer and enjoyed nothing more than a round of golf. He also enjoyed hunting with his brothers. He was a long standing member of the Elks Lodge and served the lodge faithfully for many years and in many capacities.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents: Guadalupe B. Pea and Francisca G. Pea, and a sister, Yolanda Longoria.

Left behind to eternally treasure his memory is his wife Dora Cisneros Pea of Brownsville; his children: Reynaldo and his son, Andrew Rey Pea; Francisco Pea Jr., and Patricia and her husband Salvador Vela Jr. and their daughters, Jacqueline Andrea, all of San Benito; 1 great-grandson, Jordan Pea; 2 brothers, Manuel Raquel Pea of Brownsville and Guadalupe Paca Pea of Harlingen, a brother-in-law, Apolonio Longoria of Houston, TX, numerous nieces and nephews, and his wifes family: Leticia, Justo, Jorge, Jose Luis, Bianka, Justin, Monica, Alex, and Ellie.

Cremation services were held in accordance with Franks wishes.

The family will greet friends Tuesday, April 14, 2009 beginning at 6 p.m. A memorial rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.
